Ideally I'd have 2 or 4, but to use all of my favourite names I'd have to have 12, which I wouldn't mind over a very long period of time. I'll do 4, and then 12, so I can type out all of my favourites. These are in the ideal order as well (yes, I have actually this planned out :P)

    Pandora Calliope Fae
    Caspian Darcy Edmund
    Evanthe Lyra Jessamine
    Phoenix Arthur Blaise

    And with all my faves:

    Pandora Calliope Fae
Caspian Darcy Edmund & Phoenix Arthur Blaise
    Evanthe Lyra Jessamine
    Lorenzo Julian Cyril
Beatrix Clara Elizabeth & Arabella Rosalind Constance
    Evander Lucian Francis
    Perenna Caoimhe Iris
Nikolai Horatio Emrys & Phaedra Georgiana Enid
    Ptolemy Alexander Finn
Wholocked, history and chemistry loving teenberry (16).

I think somewhere between 2 or 4 is a good range for me as well, but here are all my favorites. It's tough for me to build sib-sets because I don't like too much repetition. At the same time, there are name "elements" that show up over and over again on my favorites list. I love the -ine/-ina sound, names that begin with R, -el and -del, to name a few.

I'm really happy with the sibset below because I think I managed to avoid too much repetition while still using some version of all my most beloved names. Also, they're all real possibilities for future babies. I love longer, frillier names up front, but after much reflection, I know I could never sign off on one with our surname. Short, clear names work so much better for us (and would hopefully make life easier for the babies).

If you met a family with these names, what would you think?

    Girls
    Rose Madelief
    Sylvie Lucia
    Clara Delphine
Elin Violette or Helene Violette - I like Elin better, but am concerned about initials E.W.

    Boys
    Theodore James
    William Kenneth
    Christian Eric
    Noah Peregrine

Pretentious? Trying too hard to be pan-global? (We're actually just mutts, so it works out that way. Several of the middles are honor names.) We have a long-ish Dutch surname.

Of course, most of the adventurous names are in the middle, where they'd rarely be heard. On the playground, you'd hear a subset of: Rose/Rosie/Romy, Sylvie, Clara, Elin/Lena/Evie, Ted/Teddy, Liam, Christian/Kit, and Noah.
Married to my best friend since 6-30-11 ♥ Mama to two herding dogs, a wooly rabbit & a purring machine

Current favorite combos for the women-to-be: Rowena Claire (Winnie) | Amabel Jane | Lilias Eve | Helene Iona (Lena)

And the little men: Theodore James (Teddy) | Cedric Muir | Jude Peregrine | Henry Alcott

My dream family would be two boys, either as twins or singles.

    Morgan Zachary and...?
I'm struggling with another boys name I love as much as Morgan Zachary!

If I instead had two girls they would probably be

Lucy Josephine or Josephine Lucille nn Josie (can't decide!)
    and
Emilia Margaret nn Mila, Mia, or Emmy

I would probably adopt a third child, a boy, if my first two are both girls
Ladies: Anna, Audrey, Emilia, Josie, Kiersten, Lucy, Miranda

Gentleman: Grady, Grant, Isaac, Jonah, Morgan, Rory, Shane

I want three, two boys and a girl.
    Alonso Gene
    Benedict Knox
    Tabitha Lynn
Or just two, in which case, they'd be Benedict Knox and Tabitha Lynn.
