    Oh, love the suggestion of Archer! I've always thought it sounds so cool paired with River despite the same ending. Sailor is a great idea, too!

    Ah, a girl after my own heart. I'm expecting twin boys and Twin A will be River and we're looking at a second water/nature name for Twin B, leaning towards water right now. So, this is what I've come up....

    Less obvious nods to water names:

    Dylan-son of the sea
    Beck-one that lives by a small stream
    Seren-ancient goddess of water (or something like that), but is a Welsh boy's name
