    Imagine you are...

... a young woman who married an older man from a prestigious Texas family with ties to cattle, oil, and politics. Baby will have dark hair and blue eyes. She will be brave, extroverted, and unapologetically feminine. She will grow up on an isolated cattle ranch in West Texas, but travel the world when she is older. You want to give her a name that is distinctive and powerful, but not too strange or "look at me look at me." Something with a strong history. What do you name her?

This isn't me, btw. Or any real person who exists in the actual world, lol.

Lark. It's recognizable but different enough. It has a bit of Southern charm to it but more on the rustic side vs. the frilly side.

Do you want a feminine name or more a unisex name? Savannah is the first name that popped into mind for a character like that. I'd also consider:

    Samantha
    Willa
    Lucia
    Celia
    Ainsley
    Ruby
    Gillian
