Judging by the list of countries you mentioned in your original post it looks like you might be looking for names that have an ancient germanic root. (Note Germanic does not equal German - German is just one of many Germanic languages. Many naming sites get this wrong....so use your head.)
If you go to behindthename.com you can actually look up Ancient Germanic/Germanic mythology names.... here are some that I like:
Lorelei (not really unheard of)
PS: Germanic Languages include: English, German, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Icelandic, and Norwegian (there are a couple of others - some of which are extinct)....if my husbands has no vote, then....
