I can't believe so many people have stated Matilda as their favourite - is it rising in popularity in the US?

Matilda is top 50 in the UK and although popularity usually bothers me it really doesn't with Matilda. I think it's perfect.

I do have only one daughter and I named her Juniper nn Juni. I can say without a doubt that it's my favourite girl's name- I have loved it since I was about 15 but it was only when I joined nameberry that I realised it wasn't just for the guilty pleasure list, it was actually useable! I love it even more now that I have my baby Juniper in my life.

Marion is my current girl-name winner. I have had to eliminate many names given my husband’s last name. But Marion is a family name and still holds strong.

My favorite right now is probably Amelia. My husband's cousin used it for her youngest daughter a couple years ago, so I don't know if we'll be able to use it. I also LOVE Johanna and Gillian, but my husband doesn't like either.
