    Evita vs Vita?

Which do you prefer? Also, is it useable on a fair skinned blue eyed girl or does a Spanish/Latin name seem out of place? My husband loves both Evita and Vita.

Vita has so much more substance. It means life, whereas Evita is just a nickname for Eve/Eva. It's also way too tied to the musical for me. It sounds nice, but for a child that will eventually be an adult with the name, I find that Vita us a much better option.

I also prefer Vita. Evita is too linked to Eva Peron. Not only is that musical, but highly political. I'd hate to have people singing to me or lecturing me on Argentinian politics just due to my name...

    This exactly.

Also, I know a girl from Ukraine named Vita. She is an amazing person and definitely is full of life!!
