Is Lucy too close for a sister to Elise?

Not expecting, just settling a bet with my husband.

We both like Lucy (not so much Lucille or Lucilla) for a hypothetical future daughter. But I think it's too close to our daughter's name (Elise).

    What do you think?

I hate to veto any name he's even slightly into these days. He hates/mocks everything.

    Thanks, everyone!

I don't think its too close, they actually make lovely sisters. I can see what you mean with the l and s sounds but I don't find it a tongue-twister at all. I think its the fact that they don't start with the same intial that saves it.

On paper I find them different enough...but when I said them together aloud...they kind of run together and feel awkward to say together. But maybe it's just me.

From your signature I love Audrey and Amy (my name )
