    Claire as a nickname?

As some of you may have seen,my husband loves Claire. Me, not so much. But I just thought what if DD's name is a longer version, where Claire is a nn? Yet there are other non possibilities.

I love Claire/Clare all on it's own. Personally for me it is definitely not a nickname. Claire/Clare is a very versatile name. It is beautiful, sweet, and has a bit have sass and spunk.
