    Emiliana Nicknames?

So it's looking more and more like we're going to use Emiliana Pari for bubs. The problem is that I hate Emily, which DH loves. He's agreed that we can use a different nickname, but I'm not really sure what to go for. It needs to be short, as we live in China... and there's no way Chinese people will be able to say Emiliana, or anything long. I'm not a fan of Emma, Emmy, Emily, or Ana. I like Milia, but I'm scared it will just sound like Emilia. I also like Millie, but will people hear Emily? We're considering Lia and Pari (pronounced like the nickname for Paris, France). Any recommendations or opinions? Thanks!

I think you could use the simple Mila. Or Lia. But Mila is my favourite of all the options.

Goregous name! Mila is short, cute and easy to say, I feel like. I also like Lia. Not sure if Chinese people will be able to pronounce Pari right.

I think Mila, Milia and Lia work best. I don't hear "Emily" at all when I hear Millie--I usually think Mildred or Amelia.

In high school I knew a girl name Mili (mee-lee) which I also think could work for you.

I really like Mila and Millie. When I hear Millie I don't think Emily at all. I also like Emmy.
