    Lilia

Husband and I love the name Lillia and added it to the top 5 list for our baby due late this year.
My problem is, the name Lily is number 3 in Australia(home country), and the name sounds like Lily, Lola, Layla, Lila and Olivia.

My name is Jessica and I hated how popular my name was growing up, do you think Lillia would have the same problem with so many similar names around?

The most popular names nowadays are nowhere near as popular as when we were kids.

While Lily is popular, Lilia is slightly different and a breath of freshness among the Lilys. That is especially true if Lilia goes by Lilia and not Lily.
    Current favorites:
    Cora . Louisa . Lydia . Mary

personally, I think that despite the similarities with those more popular names, Lillia stands on it's own. It's got a much more exotic appeal to it than Lily or Layla.
married to my prom date and best friend. anxiously awaiting our first baby, a girl called Luna, due in late October.
