Thanks for the feedback and suggestions! SO doesn't like Persephone. I don't know why, but he's staunchly against Persephone, and claims he always has been. Mercy creeps me out. I'm not a fan of Percy as a full name for a girl. I think you'd be sentencing her to a life of mistaken gender. I do like Persephone, nn Percy as pp suggested. Also, there's always Parisa which I'm sure you could nn Percy. Pari is a somewhat similar Persian option that is perhaps a bit exotic, but firmly in the female camp...INTP Anthropologist Living in the centre of China, married to a Persian, and just enjoying a completely unpredictable life
