    WDYT of Cézanne?

Oh my gosh, I'm crushing really hard on Cézanne. I know it probably couldn't work in the US, but I think it's really quirky and cute. What do you think about it?

You mean Suzanne? but say-zanne? is that the idea? I think it's pretty but too much confusion to be ever be a loved name by its owner!

Like the artist? I really like it, there might be spelling issues but I think it works pretty well as a name.

A few years ago I read a post by a girl named Cezanne about her experiences with an unusual name. I tracked it down, thought you might be interested: http://hellogiggles.com/on-having-a-...ve-nice-things

I think it's useable if the parent(s) have a strong affinity for the artist, but I probably wouldn't use it unless it carried special meaning for you because otherwise it will still seem like she's named after him, you know? I agree that it's quirky/cute.

I know a girl named Monet. Yes, we're in Art History class together. I think it actually rocks!!
