    Winston

Ive recently fallen smitten with Winston, nn Win. But it struck me today how similar it sounds to the popular and feminine Winnie.

Do you think Win is too close/is too feminine sounding?

I love it. Handsome, strong, and masculine, yet sweet and loving as well. I think Win is a great nickname and I do not think it is too feminine at all.

I always think of Winston Churchill and his inspiring wartime speeches. It's a noble name of great depth of character. Since there is a similar Welsh male name spelled Wyn/Wynn , I don't see why Win can't be masculine as well. I think Winston is a strong and masculine choice.
    All the best,
    Mischa.

I think it's fine. Winston is a name that has been growing on me actually.

Churchill is a good namesake. I think it's handsome and masculine, even with the nn Win. Fits in with nicknames like Cal, Finn, Seb, Wes, etc.
    Some current considerations:

Sylvie Coraline | Etta Rosalie | Hazel Miranda | Margot Eliza | Vivienne Esme | Cora Madeleine
Archer Daniel | Emmett Sebastian | Ezra Donovan | Theo Anderson | Lucian Matteo | Milo Vincent
