I think it sounds quite clunky but could become chic again. I remember the fashion writer Plum Sykes chose it for her daughter a few years ago. The connection with the Disney villain is unfortunate, but on the plus side the name is also associated with the very glamorous Ursula Andress.

A family friend is called Ursula, and whilst she is a lovely person I can't help but think of The Little Mermaid every time I hear it. I can't help thinking a prettier name would have suited her better, rather than being associated with a Disney villain.

I kind of like it and I honestly do not think the Disney connection is that bad. It has an awesome meaning and the nicknames are cute. The only reason I wouldn't use it is because it reminds me of a family friend who I do not like at all.
