Cool Classic Names With Modern Nicknames

I love long, classic names, but don't particularly want my child saddled with "Genevieve" or "Beatrice" for everyday conversation. The perfect compromise seems to be a classic name with a cooler nickname, maybe something a little less common. For example for Beatrice, you could call her "Tris" (or the more classic Bea).

This is the girls forum, I know, but if any similar boys names come to mind that would be fantastic
    (ex. Bennett-Ben)

"Walter. That’s good. I’ve never known a little kid named Walter. It seems like an old man’s name, but I guess you have to start somewhere."
