    I think it's fine to use Evan for a middle name- especially since it honors someone special!

    I think it is lovely in the middle. I love Nora Evan and Lila Evan.

    Hmmm sorry to be the one to disagree but I don't think it works. If the MN spot is perfect for honouring/more unusual names, why not just use Evans? Evan is all boy to me and basically the same as using John, Ivan or Sean, thus it doesn't look or feel right in my eyes when used in a girl's name. Evanna is a lovely suggestion though. I like Nora and Lila the best as, like others have said, Lily Evan/s is a bit too HP (then, I am a massive HP fan too )

    The reason I wouldn't use Evans is because our last name is Smith. Evans Smith is a mouthful to me. Evanna is pretty too.
