waverly123- That's so cool! We haven't been back for almost two years now I feel bad, but it's just hard for us to get back there! Arianne had been popping up on my other threads and I'm just not sure. I feel like in the states it would always be said Air-ee-ANNE The name itself has been creeping up on me (in a good way) but that spelling issue just holds me back and I just don't know if Ariane looks right.

alphabetters- Juliette and Anais have both caused me some grief so even though I think they sound nice, it's just a no-go for me I like Alice and I'm not 100% sure, but isn't the pronunciation of Alice in French and English a little different? I don't know if it gives me that "French feeling" either...if that makes sense? But I may have to get over that if it means finding a name!

Madeleine - only if you're pronouncing it the correct French way - Mad-eh-LEN, which will give you pronunciation headaches I'm sure.
Josephine - it's okay. I think Josephine "Juh-roo" sounds fine!
Delphine - I like it in theory but I just see 'dolphin'.
Emilie - I know a few Emilie's, they don't seem to have problems. Emily is immensely popular, though.
Emeline - my favorite from your list! It's a sweet spot (fitting in while standing out) name and has the cutest nicknames.
Aurore - I don't like it, or Aurora either. I just don't think it sounds appealing and it's difficult to say next to "Juh-roo"
