No name for our daughter?
We have been sure since I was about 4 months that we would name our daughter Penelope Belle, however my husband's step-sister had a baby last week and she called her Penelope. Nobody knew what name we were going with and vice versa with his step sister. I'm now 7 and a half months and I feel that we are running out of time.
So now we are looking for new names as Penelope is a definite no. We are thinking of maybe using Belle as a first name...but is it a bit pretentious?
We also like the names Ingrid and Bryony. We don't really have a style, if we like the meaning and the sound of the name then we like the name.
Any suggestions that are similar?
Thanks for any answers!

We didn't have a nn picked exactly. We were just going to see what suited her, however in the back of my mind I always thought that I was definitely going to nn her Penny however my SIL is calling her Penny and Pen and I'm personally not fond of any of the other nicknames.
We think that Penelope and any sort of variant (like Penny) is going to be totally scratched. At least I will have a niece with a beautiful name!
