Help with Girl's List!
I have been thinking a lot lately about my girl names' list. Mainly, this is because I am going to receive a baby girl soon from the Baby-Think-It-Over program that is held at my school. However, I would also like to possibly use some of these names fro my future children as well. Please help me narrow down my list and/or tell me what you like/dislike about the names. Thanks.
**Baylor (MN only)
*Means that I can't use them for the Baby-Think-It-Over program because there are people in my class that are named these names, but would still like to use them in the future.
** Means that I absolutely LOVE this name but want to have other opinions as well.

I wish we had something like this program when I was in school. My faves are bolded below.
Abigail - a Biblical gem
Adeline - sweet and vintage
Charlotte - elegant and sophisticated
Eve - there is beauty in one-syllable
Hannah - soft and feminine
Ruby - spunky and sassy
Violet - see Ruby
Chloe - at least it's spelled with a "C"
Alexa - I prefer Alexandra but this is ok
Amelia - I like Emilia too
Aubrey - overused but I don't mind it as long as it's spelled this way
Ava - overdone but pretty
Cora - I'm hearing this name alot along with Nora
Lilly - I think Lily is the best spelling
Olivia - this is very popular. I prefer Livia or Liv.
Summer - although Autumn is my favourite season, Summer is my favourite season name.
Bailey - reminds me of a dog name
Baylor (MN only) - sounds like a donkey call
Britton - harsh sounding and unattractive
Aria - trendy and best left to the opera world.
Delanie - Delaney is the correct spelling.
Emmelyn - Emmeline is gorgeous. Emmelyn is terrible.
Isla - trendy
Kassidy - Not a good name even spelled with a "C"
Keeley - there are better Irish names out there
Khloe - I just think of the trashy Kardashian family and it turns me off
Makenzy - Mackenzie is the best spelling. I dislike "Mc-Mac" names.
Madelyn - this spelling is a modern invention and takes away from the beauty of Madeline/Madeleine.
Maisie - only for a nickname
Paisley - whiney and weak
Piper - trendy and cutesy
Regan - trendy along with cousins Teagan and Megan
Sophia - I prefer the French version of Sophie much better
Teagan - trendy along with cousin Reagan
Tessa - I prefer just Tess. Adding an "a" makes it too prissy for my taste. All the best,

I really like...
obviously a lot of them are really trendy, but I don't think that's a bad thing necessarily. I'd suggest...
Adelaide or Ada
Chandlerolivia - eighteen (finally!), england but sometimes canada. i like names, film & philosophy, and i'm desperately maternal.
''BOYS R SENSITIVE'' ○ ''GIRLS R SRTONG'';Rufus ○ Wilfred ''Wilf'' ○ Emmett ○ Hugh ○ Edgar ○ Crispin ○ William
Rosemary ''Romy'' ○ Annabel ○ Maude ○ Sibyl ''Billie'' ○ Oona ○ Mavis ○ Fenella ''Nell''
[other beloved / honour names, perhaps middles; Baez, Nicholas, George, Alec, Cathal, Margaret, Briar, Amelia, Beatrix, Agnes, Nancy & Lettice]

I'm going to ignore the * names. These names jump out at me:
Charlotte -- prefer Lottie or Charlie
The only ones I strongly dislike:
Prefer Delaney to Delanie and Chloe over Khloe.
All the others are in the middle / neutral ground.
