I like Freya, Talia, and Aria a lot! I actually don't mind Molly but it ends with Y which we can't have

First of all I'd say no names in the top 30+, not that those don't have character but he popularity seems to ruin the specialness of some good name choices; I love Charlotte but my daughter has two other Charlottes in her class!

    I second Hazel.

Other ideas: Lorraine, Gloria, Mabel, Margaret, Florence

Also look at names popular in the UK but excluding most of the 'nicknames as first names' trend.

Some of his names [no offense to anyone who likes these names, I just find them a bit dated/boring]:

    Elizabeth
Sarah (also the name of my ex-best friend, would rather not use a name close to it)

    Anne
    Lauren

    Some of my names:

    Margot
Amelia (though it's getting popular I've noticed)
    Emmeline
Helena (he didn't like all the issues about pronunciations)
    Eleanor/Nora

    Sybil
    Helen
    Nora-Anne
