    Namespiration from your state/province/territory/etc.!

Some berries might know that I live in Louisiana, but I'm not sure if you know about the great names that can be found here! I did a bit of Googling (not to mention used some of my in-state travelling experience) to come up with this list of guilty pleasure names I may or may not use in the future.

    Parishes
*some of these actually have Saint or East/West in front of them
    Helena
    Bernard
    Beauregard
    Feliciana
    Acadia
    Cameron
    Jefferson
    Sabine
    Grant
    Lincoln
    Franklin
    Evangeline

    Cities/Towns
    Edgard
    Monroe
    Sorrel
    Marrero
    Killian
    Jena
    Oberlin
    Florien
    Estelle
    Erath
    Eros
    Amelia
    Belle Rose
    Tallulah
    Gray
    Kenner
    Luling
    Alexandria

These definitely aren't all, just the ones I especially like. I don't think I would use any that I've lived in or close to. Do you ladies find any of the city/place names from your home lands useable, likeable, or interesting?

I fancy these: Twila Posey, Odette Francesca, Orlaith Glimmer, Fianna Ruby, Indie Nell

Ouen Amos, Cillian Ambrose, Oswin Maverick, Casimir Orlando, Oscar Phineas

I just wikipedia-ed a list of place names from my home county and man, most of them just made me laugh out loud imagining a person called that. English place names can be ridiculous. We do a good line in double-worded villages, and I enjoyed these. They sound like characters from a fantasy novel or something.

    Barton St David
    Beggearn Huish
    Beardly Batch
    Brompton Ralph
    Buckland Dinham
    Burton Pynsent
    Cary Fitzpaine
    Charlton Mackrell
    Charlton Musgrove
    Chewton Keynsham
    Chilthorne Domer
    Combe Florey
    Compton Dando
    Compton Pauncefoot
    Cricket Malherbie
    Crowcombe Heathfield
    Farrington Gurney
    Farleigh Hungerford
    Flax Bourton
    Hardington Mandeville
    Haselbury Plucknett
    Hatch Beauchamp
    Hinton Blewett
    Huish Champflower
    Kingsbury Episcopi
    Kingston Seymour
    Knowle St Giles
    Langford Budville
    Marston Magna
    Milborne Wick
    Mudford Sock
    Nempnett Thrubwell
    Norton Malreward
    Orchard Portman
    Peasedown St John
    Preston Plucknett
    Queen Camel
    Sampford Arundel
    Shepton Mallet
    Sock Dennis
    Stanton Prior
    Staple Fitzpaine
    Sutton Montis
    Temple Cloud
    Upton Noble
    Weston Bampfylde
    Withiel Florey
    Wyke Champflower

All real towns, villages or hamlets in the noble county of Somerset The 'real' names to be found in amongst them are (although most of these are in the Somethington St. Person format):

    Adam
    Ash
    Cary
    Cuthbert
    Catherine
    David
    Dean
    Dennis
    George
    Giles
    John
    Lawrence
    Leigh
    Luke
    Margaret
    Mark
    Martin
    Mary
    Michael
    Nicholas
    Philip
    Ralph
    Thomas
Simon (sort of, there's a village called Simonsbath)

I'm sure there are plenty others that would make good names for some people's tastes!
