Thread: Albertine!

  1. #1

    Smile Albertine!

Just heard this one and I really like it. Not sure if I prefer Albertina.

Another option is Alberta, of course, which has a bit more of a serious feel imo.

Not a fan of the obvious NN choices though - Albie? Tina? Ergh.

Normally, I love feminine versions of male names (Thomasina, Georgina/Georgiana) but I don't really like this one that much. Maybe you can call her Alla? Allie? Betina?

I'd say this is a boys name, in fact I thought you opened the topic in the wrong place, sorry!

I find Albertine to be a mouthful and quite clunky/choppy. Alberta flows much more nicely IMO. Could Ally be used as a NN?

I LOVE Albert on a little boy, but I really don't like it's feminizations. :/
I've been staring at the hotel ceiling,
Drinking everything I've found this evening,
Trying to hold on to the sweetest feeling,
So I'll never let you go, don't you leave me lonely.
