Nah husband doesn't like Evelyn at all. Valerie is my grandmothers name. We just like family names and we like the meaning of names so we were trying to find a name that slots in nicely with the meaning. Zoe is my name, and would rather avoid using it where possible.

Do any of these family names work with Evangeline?

I agree that Evangeline Valerie isn't the best of flows.

    Of your suggestions I like:

    Evangeline Mary
    Evangeline Joy
    Evangeline Grace
    Evangeline Hope
    Evangeline Agnes
    Evangeline Florence
    Evangeline Ivy

Some people might find the first four a little too religious sounding but that doesn't bother me.

    I really love Evangeline Zoe!

How about some of these 'twists on your family middles:
    Evangeline Irena
    Evangeline Juliet/Juliette
    Evangeline Flora
    Evangeline Mae/May
    Evangeline Gracie

And some combos I like the sound of:

    Evangeline Sophie
    Evangeline Isobel
    Evangeline Ruby
    Evangeline Kate
    Evangeline Isla
    Evangeline Clara

I like Evangeline Joy it's pretty, people seem to like Evangeline Zoe ( my only issue is our last name starts with an e meaning our initials will spell eze)(husband worried it looks and will sound like easy which he doesn't want for a girl) hmm maybe I can do two middles to break up the initial problem.
