Maybe I'm over thinking, but does Claire Estelle sound too French?

No, I don't think so. Claire certainly does not sound too French, and most people will not know her middle name. I think Claire Estelle is lovely......the combo does give a sophisticated, French vibe to me, but in a very good way (and not too strong a vibe at all)

Not at all! It's a very pretty and sophisticated combo.
Not expecting, just having fun collecting names!

I don't think so. I think both names are well enough established in English speaking countries so there isn't a strong association with French.

Too French for what?... for someone not French? I think Claire is fairly mainstream, and Estelle feels vintage too, so I don't think it feels distinctly French.
