I like Heather! And as tararyaz said, if you combine it with a 2014 middle, it will be really nice.

    For example,
    Heather Isla
    Heather Amelia
    Heather Evangeline
    Heather Mae
Mom to James Daniel (9), William Joseph (8), Elise Marie (7), and Zachary Allan (baby)

Serena (Seri), Amy, Diana, Kate, Adele, Georgia, Audrey, Lucy, Linnea, Clara
    Thomas, Henry, Orin, Arthur, Samuel

    DH's "approved" list:
Seri, Amy, Diana, Lucy, Kate/Katie/Katherine, Audrey
    Thomas, Martin ("maybe")

This is how I associate it. I can think of at least 6 Heather's in my graduating class (born 1980)...

Oooh I love Heather Amelia! I was also thinking up a few combinations, so with it as a first name, some as a middle:

    Sophie Heather
    Heather Arabella
    Jemima Heather
    Heather Imogen
    Saskia Heather
    Heather Delilah
    Felicity Heather/Heather Felicity
    Heather Marina

are any of these balanced enough to use?
    eighteen, no babies yet, but thinking about;

~Tillie, Myrtle, Bessie, Millie, Minnie, Louisa, Amelie, Elsie, Ethel, Florence, Doris, Nellie
Agatha, Mildred, Lillian, Eleanor, Florrie, Betsy, Violet, Esme, Daisy, Poppy, Martha, Beatrice~

~Neville, Matthew, Richard, Ernest, Alfie, Thomas, Walter, Louis, Christopher, Henry, Harry
James, Albert, Joshua, Percy, Freddie, Andrew, George, Kit, Edward, Mark, Kieran, Emery, Tristan~

Heather Evangeline was one of the exact combos I was thinking of when I said "2014 middle"! How crazy is that!

    Heather Imogen is nice! Also...

    Heather Serafina
    Heather Sofia
    Heather Wren (too naturey?)
    Heather Penelope
Heather Wordname (like Arrow, North, Lyric, just be careful of anything that brings it into stripper territory. Bliss & Angel for example don't work here.)
Heather Placename (Astoria, Marietta, Virginia, again steer clear of anything like Savanna or Brooklyn that can veer it down that kind of path.)
Heather Surnamename (Family significance rules here. Heather Cambell or Heather Ripley come to mind as examples of how well this sounds.)
