I like Hawthorne... could be nicknamed Thor which is kinda cute and kinda badass at the same time.

Also Yarrow (type of plant), Huckleberry, and Coriander.
Also while a plant theme is cute with the last name Rose it might be a lot.
I’d probably suggest broadening their horizon to any nature related names or using a plant name as a mn.
Names like Oberon, Everett, Dove, Ecru, Slate, Havelock, Heron could all be great options without the blunt-force impact of another plant fn paired with Rose.MAJOR CONSTRUCTION ZONE
