    'Ellen' + 'Lorraine'

Ellen & Lorraine are my two grandmothers' middle names. i want to see if i could somehow mesh those with Ellen being the more obvious element. i've thought of Elaine, Elora, Eleanor, Elenora, Elowen, which don't strike my fancy. can anyone think of anything?

    My first thought was Lorraine.
I guess you could do Lorrell/Lorel/Lorell, as these are the first sounds of both names. I pronounce it Laur-elle.

    Good luck!

Maybe Elaina would be more appealing to you?
Or perhaps Lenore, Loren, Lorelle, Elliana...

    What about Lorelei?

There is also Ellis. Or if you were feeling adventurous you could probably get away with Raizel.
