Question Boy Names-- Strong Meaning and no "n" Ending

    Hello,
While I really tend to like boy names ending in "n", I feel we already have too many of these in our home! (My husband's name ends w/ "n", our 2 boy dogs names end w/ "n", our 2 year old son's name ends w/ "n" (Nolan). We found out our second child will also be a boy and I really just wish for something different / fresh. Nolan means "Champion, Victorious, Noble" which I LOVE. I feel it gives him something of a legacy to grow into, and I'd also like for our second son to have this sort of thing. So I'd love to hear as many suggestions as possible of nice sounding boy names that do not end w/ "n" and hold a strong meaning. We are Christian so names along this line are good or really any name that means an admirable attribute (ex: strong, noble, integrity, loyal, soldier....etc.) Any assistance would be SOOOOOOO greatly appreciated
    Thank-you.

Dominic was my first thought. It means "of the Lord." Other ideas:

    Evander - "good man"
    Theodore - "gift of God"
    Tobias - "God is good"
    Amias - "friend"
Gerard - "brave spear" (close enough?)
    Frederick - "peaceful ruler"
    Edward - "rich/blessed guard"
    Edmund - "rich/blessed protector"
Nicholas - "victory of the people"
Leo - "lion" (perhaps in reference to the lion as a symbol of Christ?)

This is hard. I can think of plenty of names with positive meanings, but only a few with "strong" meanings...
