    Names I Like

Hello All! So my family hates all the names that I like...I want your opinion. Are they really that bad? I like different but not too different. In my signature you can see some of the names I like. My naming style is definitely different but I don't think its that out there. My family sure does though lol.

To be clear I am not pregnant nor do I have any children yet. I just love finding names

    Thanks Dariya

Azalia: Not really my favorite or anything, but I think it could definitely grow on me!

Imogen: I've always thought this name was super pretty but I couldn't see myself using it

Juniper: I'm so back and forth with this name! Sometimes I like it, sometimes I don't

Wisteria: Not really my style, sorry!

Avalon: While I don't think I'd personally use it, it's a nice alternative to simply "Ava"

    Eowyn: Not my style, sorry!

Eleri: Not a fan of the sound (or look), sorry!

Ever: I'm okay with some word names, but this one doesn't do it for me (sorry again)!

Thisbe: I recently came across this name and I think it's SO stinking cute! I'd never have the guts to use it but anyone that could is pretty much my hero!

Theodore: I think it's nice, and I really like Theo (Teddy is cute as well)!

    Larkin: Not my style, sorry!

    Lachlan: Awesome name!

Landry: This reminds me of "laundry", sorry!

Griffin: It's a nice name, but because of a bad association I don't think I could ever consider it

Augustin: I prefer August as Augustin seems a little too much to me, sorry!

    Kier: Not my style, sorry!

Fen: Reminds me of "Fenway Park", not a fan (sorry again)!

Azalia - Not something I'd personally use, but I love it.
Imogen - It's on my list, too. Beautiful.
Juniper - Happy and spunky. I love it and the nickname Juno.
Wisteria - I haven't thought of this one as of a name, but I think I like it.
Avalon - Avalon is on my list, I adore it.
Eowyn - Never heard about this one, I think I like it, but prefer Elowen.
Eleri - Interesting, sounds magical. I like it.
Ever - Beautiful, it's on my list, too.
Thisbe - Spunky and sweet. I like it.

Theodore - One of my favorite boy names. I love it and the nickname Theo.
Larkin - I love it, but much prefer on a girl.
Lachlan - It's growing on me.
Landry - Laundry? I'm not a fan, sorry!
Griffin - Not something I'd use, but I'd love to meet someone named Griffin.
Augustin - I like all the spellings: Augustin, Augusten, Augustine. It's very handsome. I also like August and Augustus.
Kier - It's okay, but not my style.
Fen - I dislike it, sorry! Probably just because it sounds like Russian word for hair dryer.

I would certainly say your naming style is not very different from most berries here! I personally think my own style is more "out there" than yours. Just know that you're not alone. Thisbe is on my own list and I don't see how your family could hate a classic like Theodore.

Azalia - not so much a fan, but it isn't awful
Imogen - for a middle name
Juniper - I have always liked this name, it's definitely a guilty pleasure of mine
Wisteria - I can't help but thing if the Desperate Housewives every time I hear this
Avalon - I like it, a nice twist on the growing "Ava"
    Eowyn - Not a fan
    Eleri - I like this
    Ever - adore!
Thisbe - I'm not so sure how to pronounce this...

    Theodore - cute
Larkin - Lark would be a cute nickname
    Lachlan - I like it
Landry - too close to "laundry" for my taste
Griffin - cute but not something I would use
    Augustin - love it
Kier - It's alright, maybe as a nickname for Kieran
Fen - I don't think that I've heard of this before, not really my style
