    Elliot Claire

Our daughter will be here any day. We've been calling her Ellie which I think will be short for Elliot. We are considering Claire as a middle as it's a family name and one I've always liked. But do you see where there might be an issue with these names together. (I'll not point it out to see if anyone picks up on it. We think it's kind of cute though.)

    Other middle names we're considering:
Raine (shortened form of my middle name Loraine)
    Ann (my moms middle)

OOOh like an eclair dessert ? Lol. That is pretty awesome.
Elliot Claire is pretty, though not my style. I think Elena Claire is pretty, and you can still have the eclair.
Also Elena Joy would be gorgeous, and E J is such a cute nickname.

Claire is lovely! Elliot sounds all boy to me as well. There are lots of other great El-- names. Elena is a great suggestion. There's also Elizabeth, Ellen, Eliora, Elouise...

Elliot is a boy's name. I think you should reconsider Aurora or Guinevere for the first name spot or find another El- name.
