    Finding Husband's Naming Style

Husband and I are ttc and I've been trying to understand his naming style. He says he doesn't like popular names, which is awesome except we haven't liked any of the same names, except one we can't use, Jax. My nephews name is Jack.

Tonight we went through a baby book and his favorite name was Davin. Loved it. He also suggested Shane, Everett, and Jude. He went through the entire index and those were the only acceptable names. I wondered if maybe he did like popular names so I read off the top 100, he didn't like any of those. Any suggestions? My top names are Jasper and Kingston, he feels they aren't masculine enough. His names feel so random to me.

As for girl names I lucked out. He loves my top 3. Esmeralda nn Esme, Ziva, and Violet. Any advice for finding some common ground, that also might go with our girl names?

    Esmeralda ~ Vivienne ~ Ziva ~ Emory ~ Violet ~ Zinnia
    Jasper ~ Kingston ~ Jett ~ Theroux ~ Sebastian ~ Onyx

I actually think his names are consistent in a style or flavor, to me they are short, strong names you'd find on a manly and sensible fellow. I do prefer his boys names over Jasper or Kingston.
Similar names to his style *might* be (but who knows lol)

I find it so weird that your husband doesn't find Kingston masculine, whereas he finds Everett does. Too me, Everett is more softer. Not that its bad. Just seems inconsistent.

    -Forrest
    -Orion
