    What's your favourite pn of...

    Idris. It's got both Arabic and Welsh origins.
    Arabic = ih-DREES
    Welsh = IHD-riss.

    I'm not sure which I prefer. It's a favourite but I go back and forth on how I say it. I feel Welsh is more culturally appropriate for me, although I have no more links to Wales than I do to the Middle East haha. I first heard it in an Arabic context so I'm possibly leaning more to ih-DREES, plus it sounds so exotic.

    How do you naturally say it, and which do you think sounds best?
