Names like Io, Noa, Ginger, etc...??
Please please help me with my girls name list for our second child, due mid-year. Have been scoping Nameberry for a long time but need some fresh perspectives!
Looking for any suggestions that you think we might love as much as our boy choice, Arlo. Boys are so much easier for us!!
Not very clear on our style category, but we do love names containing an 'o' sound (ie Io, Noa, Arlo etc) and also tend to lean toward less common, strong yet feminine (not frilly) names for girls.
(Also, this will be our last child. So how well the girls name goes with 'Arlo' does not matter, as there is likely to be no other siblings. Our eldest child's name is Maeve. So, we will just have Maeve and Arlo, OR Maeve and ....?)
Here are some names we like, though those with * we cannot use, sadly.
Elinor (nn Noor)

I adore the name Io. It was on my long list. Here are some thoughts. Not sure if you're a nickname person, but I put some ideas about those on here as well.
Valo - VAH-lo, new found name and love it. It means "light" in Finnish.
Thais -- TAH-ees
Gem -- actually know a boy with this name. Could also be Gemma nn Gem
Aysu -- Means moon water.
Bodhi -- Lovely meaning and awesome nn Bo
Leonie / Leona -- nn Leo
Liliosa -- nn Lilo, so intrigued by this one.
Taioma -- Tay-oh-muh nn Tayo
Oona / Una

Maeve is completely gorgeous! And I really love Arlo!
My first thought was Fiona: strong 'o' sound, feminie yet non-frilly. I also think that Fiona is perfect with Maeve! Other names I love for you:
Rose (so fresh as a first name!)
Best of luck!I'm 19 with a furbaby named Frederick
* Beatrix * Clementine * Penelope * Seraphina *
* Theodore * Hugo * Caspian * Arthur * Lysander *

Eos instead of Io
Juniper perhaps instead of Ginger or Ginervra/Genevieve?
Nola as you already have Nala
Clove/ Clover I love Clover but its unusable in the UK as its a margerine
