Which is your favourite -DA name?
Whilst looking through my girls list I suddenly noticed that several of them end in -DA.
I must love that sound!
My Top 10....
Clothilda, Drusilda, Elfrida, Esmeralda, Freyda, Frieda, Isolde (ok, cheating a little, but I pronounce it iz-OL-da), Matilda, Merida, Zelda
I'm just wondering, which is your favourite and why? If your true favourite is not listed, please pick the one you like best, then list your real favourite in the comments! Much appreciated!

" Someone I loved once gave me a box full of darkness. It took me years to understand that this too was a gift " ~ Mary Oliver
My name is Vasiliki but I prefer Bellerose . A lover of dark names , trying to be something in her life .
Persephone " Seph " ~ Hades ~ Prometheus .

Top Three "DA" Faves
1 Matilda - strong and majestic with a spunkiness
2 Esmeralda - exotic and mysterious
3 Clothilda - clunky and vintage
Zelda - sounds otherworldly and has a literary connection (maybe not such a good one).
Other "da" ending names I like are: Frida (this spelling), Veda, Zinaida, Clorinda, Alida, Andromeda, Miranda, Lucinda, Belinda, Casilda, Candida, Alda, Farida, Mafalda, Theda, Romilda and Nerida. All the best,
