It's a BOY! My list of 50 names I don't hate.
We found out yesterday we are expecting our second little boy! Very excited, but now comes the challenge - finding a name we love as much as Grant! I just pasted the top 1,000 into a spreadsheet and deleted everything I didn't like, leaving me with about 50 I don't hate. Think "the" name is among them?? Gosh I hope so!
*Name we both like, at least a little.*
Jake - but so popular
Wesley or Weston - probably top contender, and though I love Wes I'm not 100% on either full name
Gavin - but we are cautious of all G names as we sometimes call Grant, "G"
Emmett - me more so than dh, he doesn't hate it but I doubt would settle on it
Calvin - again, me more than him. NN Cal
Garrett - we both love but sounds too close to Grant, right?
Everett - a family name, but in an almost-over done way
Dean - we both *like* Dean...don't love it.
Arthur- a family name, hate the NN Art though, any cooler nicknames out there?
Philip- hate nn Phil, though Flip would be a fun nn later in life
*Names we haven't really discussed at length, could be maybes?*
Hugh- Hugh & Grant....would that be a no-go?
*Names Husband has said "no" to. Some are very hard, clear no's - but a couple I might be able to have some sway*
Elijah/ Elias nn Eli
Barrett nn Bear
Malcolm- nn Mac
Clark- family name, dh says it reminds him of Griswold
*Names DH likes and I'm "eh" about*
Craig- DH favorite...really not a fan.
Brock - probably my favorite of his pics, but it seems a bit overly-masculine to me

Callen Sage is our boy name, Emmeline Jay is our girl name.
Fingers crossed that one day he'll agree to Holden Eli, Beckett Rome, Declan Reeves; Violet Carraway, Isla Maven, and Aspen Olivia.

I just responded to your other thread about needing to find more names. I think you have a really great list unfortunately if you are worried about popularity a lot of your names are in the top 1000. I only say this cause you mentioned Isla’s name.
On your husbands “no” list I really love Abel and Dexter though I think they are both in the 100-400 range, also Leon instead of Leo. (I feel like Leon works better for your sib-set.) Anyway check out the other thread for suggestions.CONSTRUCTION ZONE!!!maybe Endora, Dexter, Gideon & Lorelei

From the list of names you agree on I like: Arthur, Everett and Dean. I personally wouldn't go with Garrett because it is too close to Grant... From all of them I like Arthur the most. If you want another nickname for it Bear is one (since Arthur means bear).
From the list you haven't really talked about, I like Levi. It goes well with Grant and while it is not uncommon at the moment it isn't too popular.
Names from your last list that I like are: Elijah, Jack, Leo, Declan, Abel, Rowan, Dexter, Bram, Ronan, Clark and Finn. But I really would try to focus on finding something you both love...
My favorites overall are: Arthur, Levi, Elijah, Abel and Dexter.
Just call me Pandora...
Orpheus Brian Roscoe, Apollo Michael Leander, Rainier Finnian Castor, Tristan Eli Declan, Stellan Wolfram Asher, Florian Ezra Lucius, Pyramus Damon Emery, Raphael William Laszlo
Matilda Rosamund June, Adelaide Poppy Renée , Rosalie Elena Iris , Mary Aine Willow, Ariadne Margot Lilith, Isobel Calliope Snow, Nadia Ivy Elizabeth, Eleanor Beatrice Rain
