Thread: Camellia? Caledonia? Callia?

Camellia? Caledonia? Callia?
I like these unique C names. Caledonia was the first one I saw. What do you think of it? Is it too much? What if it's paired with the much? Is Callia better? Does Callia just look like a miss-spelled Callie?
I pronounce Camellia: Kah-mell-ee-uh and Callia: Callie-uh
Would you pronounce Callia differently? (Kah-LEE-uh instead of KAH-lia?)
For Camellia, would it be too weird to spell it Camelia instead of Camellia? Would this change the pronounciation?
IMO all of these work with the middle name Jane, am I right? Which of these three names should I add to my list?
(Inquiry from a teen berry that isn't planning on having kids of rover 10-15 years).

Camellia -- I pronounce this flower name (and believe it is traditionally pronounced) as Kuh-MEEL-ya. Sometimes I have heard Kuh-MEEL-ia, but with only a glancing emphasis on the "ia". Pronounced the traditional way, I find this name to be so lovely. Camille is also quite nice.
Callia presents the same pronunciation to me. Kuh-LEE-uh or KAL-ya. It doesn't look like a misspelled version of Callie, but does look like a variation of Cal- names. One that I particularly love is Calla (Kal-luh)-- after the flower.
Are you thinking Jane as a middle name? I think it would work much better as a mn than first name paired with these.
