    Nicknames for Adelaide

I really like the name Adelaide but I think the nickname "Addy" is waaaay too popular. I was wondering if there are any other nicknames for Adelaide that you can think of? Thanks.

My first thought was Lady, which I think is so sweet. Other ideas are Ada, Adele, or Della.

I'm in the same boat as you. I cannot stand Addy/Addie as a nickname for Adelaide, but I don't find some of the other nicknames too be that appealing. The only ones I can think of are:

    Ada
    Della
    Lady
    Laya
    Dee
    Dia
    Adele
    Heidi

Never thought of Lady; that is adorable! I also love Ada (vintage, sweet, lovely) and Della (spunky, unexpected, fun).
