Middle Names for Mabel or Hazel!

I am expecting my first Baby Girl in March, and we have finally narrowed our First Name choices to Mabel and Hazel. I need help with some middle name options! Our last name is a one syllable, extremely common name- so I am trying to determine what flows best. I really love feminine and classic names to go with both first names. Some family names include Lillie, Louise, Kathy... Although, if we decide on Mabel I would love to go with a middle name that starts with an S to honor my dad (His initials are MSS). Any thoughts or ideas are appreciated!

Both are very nice, but I prefer Mabel And the MSS initials clearly mean something to you. Here are a few options :

    Mabel Sadie
    Mabel Suzannah
    Mabel Savannah
    Mabel Seraphine
    Mabel Seraphina
    Mabel Suzanne
    Mabel Selena
    Mabel Serena
    Mabel Sophia
    Mabel Sierra
    Mabel Sienna
    Mabel Solange
    Mabel Soren

... and that's all I can think of right now. Best of luck finding a name!

    Congratulations!

I love the two names you have chosen. I think that out of the family names Louise sounds the best (and I'm biased as it's my daughter's middle name), although as both first names end with an L it makes for a slightly tricky pronunciation.

Some general middle suggestions I think would work well:

    Florence
    Isobel
    Rose
    Francine
    Celeste
    Rosalie
    Matilda (with Hazel)
    Katherine/Catherine (to honour the Kathy)
    Grace
    Louisa
    Lillian

    Names with an S:

    Sarah
    Seraphine
    Sienna
    Sabrina
    Susannah
    Savannah
    Saskia

Out of these options, the stand outs for me would be

    Hazel Catherine
    Mabel Florence
    Mabel Susannah

I think that a 1 or 3 syllable name would flow the best with your surname.

    Good luck!
