A good name/meaning for a long awaited babe?

Hoping for some suggestions for names that have meanings that would express gratitude for a long awaited baby... ( looking for names while STILL waiting and trying!)

For example.... Theodore means gift from God

    Other suggestions??

    Thanks!
    boys names drive me crazy!

You'll have to research each saint though, if they interest you.

The "Mary" names can mean 'wished for child.' Miriam, Mireille, Maria
Desirée means desired, as does Evelyn...
    Saul means "prayed for."
Kayin I think means "celebrated child."
    Eliana- "God has answered."
Anina- "let my prayer be answered."
You could go with any of the fertility goddesses: Artemis, Brigid, Isis, Freyja, Juno, Lucina...
or of course, any of the "gift of God" names.

Samuel was the first name that comes to mind it means "asked of God".
