    Let's talk about Leda!

Leda- a cute, yet sophisticated, sweet, yet slightly tomboyish name - seems to be perfectly balanced. It sounds nice, and is so lovely that it doesn't even need a nickname! I had never heard it until I met the cutest little girl in the supermarket named Leda. I automatically fell in love with the name! It seems perfect to go into a set with some of my other favorites. I can see this quickly becoming my favorite name! I just wanted to know your opinions, and any middle name suggestions. Thanks!

I really like Leda. It is a spunky, underused Greek myth name. I would love to meet a little Leda. I wouldn't use it, it feels kind of short, but I would love to see it on a girl. I can see it on a women too, which is usually hard for me with short girly names like Leda. Leda would need a long middle to balance it out so how about:
    Leda Annabel/Annabelle
    Leda Seraphine
    Leda Valentine
    Leda Charlotte
    Leda Rosamund
    Leda Rosalind
    Leda Jessamine
    Leda Gwendolyn/Gwendolen
Just another teenberry and writer, a lover of names

    | Zoe | Selene | Thalia | Persephone | Ariadne | Lilia | Nicoletta | Natalia | Jane | Nina |

    Pondering:
    | Artemis | Cassandra | Cleo | Eleanora | Helena | Sylvia | Malachi | Thaddeus |

I really wanted to suggest reading the greek myth before spending a lot of effort finding a mn - assuming you haven’t already. I hear Leda and automatically think of the statue and the myth - a reason I wouldn’t be able to use it.

But if you can put that aside I think choosing a name that is a bit more traditional yet whimsical would be good. It would give a future daughter a great second choice should Leda prove difficult + I like slightly more whimsical middle names.

    Leda Violet
    Leda Felicity
    Leda Grace
    Leda Isabella
    Leda Eloisa
    Endora & Lorelei
