    Vote for your favorite nickname

    Hello ladies,

I posted an earlier thread and am still trying to find the best nickname for our son Christopher Elliot Calderon who is due on March 18th.

    Please vote. ( :

Would also love any thoughts on Kristoffer vs. Christopher. I prefer the latter as far as the way it looks. I always think classic spelling is preferable to more unusual, although Kristoffer is the classic spelling is some countries. I also think that two Cs just look better than a K and a C. However, I kind of like the initials KC better than CC, and it might make Casey a viable nickname which I also like. Thanks.

I am torn between Lee, Eli and Kit, I like them all. Probably I prefer Lee because I know a wonderful guy named this. As for spellings, I'd recommend on using the traditional one, Christopher or he will have to spell it out all the time.

For nicknames I prefer Kit (though some of the others are quite nice). For spelling, Christopher.

    Hands down, classic spelling.

Kit is my absolute favorite nickname for a boy, but I don't think I'll get the chance to use it. I think Cal works, and I like it, and maybe Eli (though there are a million Elis running around), but the rest are some serious stretches.
