I love Julia, I can't believe Paula is in the top 50 in Germany! Wow! Jacob and Noah are nice for boys, and Marlon and Florian are fairly unique.

To be fair, Paula is pronounced differently in Germany. More like Pow-lah (Paola) than Paw-lah.
But I was also surprised to see it that high ranked!

So many beautiful names! I have several people named Anton in my family tree. I might have to give it another look.

The only shocker for me was Marlene ... Wow! I can only picture Marlene as a woman of 65 or older who restores prairies and has a beautiful organic garden. I can't picture a baby or a little girl named Marlene!

Also: I have friends here in the U.S. who just named their baby boy Oskar! I love the name -- and, it reflects their heritage.

    Outstanding list!
