    Ah-ending names...

I'm not ordinarily a fan of girls names that end with the 'ah' sound (Isabella, Sophia et al).

A few exceptions on my list are Elfrida, Esmeralda, Frederica, Luna, Matilda and Xanthia.

I have recently come across a few rarer 'ah' names. What do you think of...

    Artoria
    Leola
    Matia
    Tovia
    Ulyssa

    ...?

Can you think of any other 'ah' names which might persuade me?

    Thanks for your input!
Arthur Montgomery | Bartholomew Finn | Edric Beauregard | Ephraim Elias | Phineas Bartleby
Rupert Valentine | Stelian Bayard | Thorin Abraham | Victor Ulysses | Zephaniah Wolf

Alice Winifred | Antonia Mae | Augustina Rose | Beatrix Isolde | Cicely Wren
Evanthe Valentine | Marceline Matilda | Ramona Summer | Tallulah Ivy | Trudy Esmeralda

Artoria-I love this! I'm going to HAVE to add this to my list
    Leola-Meh, it's okay I guess.
Matia-I like this better than the more recognizable Mattea. I think you would have less pronunciation issues too!
Tovia-Really pretty but in my opinion it sounds like it is a name from The Hunger Games.
Ulyssa- I've never liked Uly- names and this is no exception.

    Have you thought about:

Thalia (An all-time favourite for me!)
    Evanthe (Pronounced Ee-VAN-Thuh)
    Arianna
    Anthea
    Cassia

    Good luck

@gloriaeve - Thanks for your suggestions!! Unfortunately those names are not really my style, though Adira is ok.

@featheredwings - Glad you love Artoria! It's an ancient roman family name.
    Thanks for your suggestions too!
I like Thalia though I wish it were pronounced TAH-lee-uh.
Evanthe is one of my favourite names!!! Though I pronounce it Ee-van-thee, which I believe is the correct Greek way.
Anthea and Cassia are not for me.
