    how sweet is too sweet?

This applies really only to girl names.
    How cute is too cute?
I think Meadow and Rosy and Daisy are sweet names.
Even Posy is not too sweet for me.
Honey? I'm not sure - maybe it is too cute as a name.
    Angel - far too cutesy.

Would like to hear others thoughts..

I don't really think of Angel as cutesy, but flower names (excluding Iris), Meadow and Honey are cutesy. Basically anything that sounds more like a pet than a human.

Anything that I just can't see on a professional, respected 30-something businesswoman is too cutesy. Names that are cute on a baby, toddler, or even a teenager don't always age well.

There are many flower names though that I dont find cutesy - such as Rose, Magnolia, Marigold, Lilac, Lily...

Names that are TOO CUTESY as first names for my comfort level - Coco, Mimi, Fifi, Lulu, Posy, Pansy, Betsy, Lindy, Lexi, Lacey, Becky, Candy, Dolly, Poppy, Dottie, Gigi, Kiki, Mindy, Honey, Angel, Macy, Zuzu, Princess, Precious

OK as nicknames - Daisy for Margaret/Marguerite, Posy for Josephine, Polly/Molly for Paulina and Mary, Penny or Poppy for Penelope

Boys names can be too cutesy too. Names like Alfie, Archie and Freddie are all the rage in England.
    All the best,
    Mischa.
