    Thoughts On These Family Names

I just found a page in one of my old name books with my family names that I had gotten from my grandmother a couple months ago. I fink a lot of these workable so I would love opinions on them.

Philip(I really like Philippe and Felipe)

    These will be middles.

Sidney: Seems feminine and seems like a city name (I live in Australia)
Maxwell: Love this and the nickname Max
Amos: I can't like this sorry
Samuel: I love this especially without the nickname Sam
Benjamin: I know a little Ben (with a brother named Phil) and he's so cute it makes me like the name

Sidney: I like Sidney better for a girl to be honest
Amos: somehow it reminds me of Texas and bulls
Maxwell: I love it but I'm afraid it is too popular already
Samuel: an all-time classic, I love the nn Sam/Sammy
    Benjamin: same as Samuel
Philip(I really like Philippe and Felipe): I like Philip but I'm not sure about the French/Spanish versions unless you have a cultural background
Jack: lovely name, also an all-time classic

Sidney - I love this for a boy (I don't see any appeal in it as a girls name)
    Amos - This is brilliant.
Maxwell - I like this a lot, powerful and fun
Samuel - Eh, a bit dull.
    Benjamin - See above
    Philip/Phillipe/Felipe - dull.
Jack - I love Jack, but it's a family namr for me too so I'm biased.
olivia - eighteen (finally!), england but sometimes canada. i like names, film & philosophy.
    i'm desperately maternal! some beloved ideas;

Sidney- I like it more for a boy than a girl too. The nn Sid is super cool!
    Amos- Love.
Maxwell- Maxwell nn Max is one of my favourite fn options but it would also make a great middle.
Samuel- I've always just preferred Sam straight out. I don't like the -uel ending.
Benjamin- A classic. I like it.
Phillip- I like it, but I do like most established, classic names.
Jack- Also a family name that I am very biased towards for personal reasons.
