22 weeks today! I have been wearing my maternity pants for some time now. However, I did try on some of my spring pants the other day and I can still button them, but I'm sure not for much longer. My belly feels like it is getting bigger everyday, and it already feels like it is the same size it was when I gave birth to my first daughter. Still hovering around pre-pregnancy weight though, so I will take that as a win. I have more energy, but most of that goes into my job as a middle school teacher and taking care of the house. I wasn't really one to exercise before, but we are looking forward to the spring weather so we can go outside and walk the neighborhood or at our city park.

My daughter transitioned to her big girl twin bed rather easily, and yesterday she told us to change her toddler bed back into a crib. So that is our plan for today! We are so proud of the big girl she is becoming. My SIL is 28 weeks now, and is still being monitored for pre-pre-eclampsia. Monitoring blood pressure and going to a kidney specialist to get scans of her kidneys. So far, so good. She even got to get an extra peek at the baby and Ella had the biggest smile on her face in the picture. We also just found out that my other SIL is pregnant! She is only 5 weeks, but that means 3 grandbabies for my MIL in 2014! Babies everywhere!

    Hope everyone is doing well!

@grnberyl I'm coming up on 20 weeks on Wednesday next week. It DOES feel like an accomplishment! 8-) I've been trying to exercise, but man it's been hard. I work about 49 hours per week and spent the first trimester SO TIRED that even motivating off the couch was a chore. Then in February I finally started to get some energy back and promptly got sick and had to stay in bed for two weeks. Between walking my dog pretty much once a day and going for a nice hike on the weekends, I figure I'm doing the best I can at this point. I think that we do the best we can and that will be enough, you know? I don't smoke or drink or eat junky food, I eat pretty well, take my vitamins every night, but I don't get 30 minutes of exercise in every day, and I certainly don't get all the servings of all the foods I'm supposed to every day. But I just have to believe that the kid's going to come out okay because God only knows what our parents and grandparents did when they were pregnant, and we turned out okay, didn't we? Anyway, my mantra of the day is DO WHAT YOU CAN, AND THAT WILL BE ENOUGH.

In other news, has anyone worried about their stress levels? Things have gotten nearly unbearable for me at work recently, and I spend about 9 waking hours per day completely stressed and not in a good and productive way. More of a banging-my-head-against-a-wall kind of way. After this past week, I'm seriously considering leaving for my health and the health of my baby, but it feels crazy to walk away from full benefits and start paying for health insurance at this point. My husband still makes decent money (no benefits) and we have savings, but we were going to buy a house, and if I quit, we may not be able to... I just really don't know what to do - anyone else been faced with these decisions? I feel so stuck, and the fact that stress is bad for the baby is stressing me out even more! Eek!

I was completely stressed with my first baby. She was conceived from an affair I was having with her father. He was married, I was not, but we both worked at the same school at the time. Our principal was really against all of it and probably treated us so badly it was illegal. He stood by that it was a conservative area and that everyone in the school had a problem with it. I was stressed every day about what would happen to us, and eventually we got word we would be transferred to different schools.

Long story short, I was REALLY stressed, and she turned out fine. Better than fine, she's happy, healthy, and really smart! Her father and I ended up married and it was all just a bump in the road.

While you might feel stressed now, you just listed so many reasons for you to not leave your job. Your hormones are also probably making it seem worse to you. If your goal to buy a house couldn't happen if you quit, and you would lose all of your benefits, that right there would be convincing enough for me to stay. Focus on work now, and enjoy your little one and the break when it gets here in 20 weeks! Don't stress about the stress!

Hi everyone I'm 23 weeks now, and I'm finally starting to get a little belly. I got a bunch of diapers in the mail today. It was VERY exciting! Is anyone else doing cloth?

Planning to try cloth also...but there are so many kinds and brands its a bit overwhelming. I think I've finally narrowed it down to Charlie Banana, one size with the inserts. They seemed to have the best overall ratings for wearability, absorption, durability, ease of cleaning, and infrequency of leaks. Then I may also get some all in ones to use as well, but haven't decided on which brand for those. I also pretty much completed my registry! Used babylist which was awesome. Problem is, now I'm too uncomfortable to share it with anyone, I don't want to seem like I'm fishing for gifts, lol. I suppose if I end up having a shower (which we haven't decided yet) that will be an easy excuse

I've had a belly for a while now, but I think at almost 21 weeks its finally starting to look like a pregnant belly instead of just extra lbs, lol.
