I'm writing a book and need a name!

So I'm writing a book, and I need a name for the main heroine. She is very proud, courageous, and is leading a revolt against a highly religious dictatorship she knows is wrong. I would like her name to mean legend or hero or something, and I might need names for other characters in the revolt as well, so any name that is kind of old-fashioned yet would fit a fantasy style book would be great!

The first name I thought of was Wilhemina meaning "resolute protection." It has a lot of great nm options.

    Hope this helped,

To me, something ancient like Hera (which not only sounds like "hero," it may mean "hero") would be perfect.

Which name do you really, really love the most?

Go with the one that makes you smile every time you say it."
