Too Old Fashioned?
So, my top 2 names for girls are Maude and Agnes, and I would love to use them in a sibling set. However, I'm afraid that Maude and Agnes are both too clunky to work in one sibling set. Maude Apatow's sister is Iris, which isn't (to me anyways) as clunky as Agnes seems to be. Another down side is that Maude doesn't have a nickname that I like, where as Agnes can be Aggie or Essie or Nessa.
Are Agnes and Maude too old fashioned and clunky to be in one sibling set?

I don't think so at all, I love Maude and Agnes together! (Although I do prefer the Maud spelling.) However, I do see what you mean. If Maude and Agnes were in a sibset with say, Henry and Theodore, then perhaps it wouldn't seem so clunky. From your other options, I love Agnes & Beatrice, Agnes & Eulalie, Agnes & Mabel, Agnes & Ethel, Maude & Beatrice, Maude & Edith, Maude & Dorothea and Maude & Harriet.
