    Nickname Help

So, I'm certainly not planning another baby anytime soon...but I can't stop thinking about these two names. What do you think of Adelaide and Evangeline? Are they suitable with Leopold? Our adopted daughter's name doesn't really fit with our biological sons name so I won't include it as part of the discussion, although we did give her a middle with L in it that we call her with her given name.

I was thinking Laidy as a nn for Adelaide and Evie or Lena/Leni for Evangeline? ( Leni might be too much of a stretch)

Adelaide Clover and my maiden name +S last name
Evangeline Clover or Alice my maiden name + S last name.

What nickname suggestions would you suggest?

Adelaide - Adele, Addy, Ellie, Delly, Adela, Elle & Laidy (my favourites are Ellie & Delly) - I'm not a fan of Laidy, she might get mocked :S

Evangeline - Eva, Eve, Angie, Lena, Elena, Ellie & Elle (my favourites are Lena & Ellie) - I like your nicknames for this but I'm not sure about Leni, I'd stick with Lena
    Lily Alice

Arabella Verity, Clara Emanuelle, Esther Juliet, Flora Severine, Lavinia Felicity & Rosalie Vasilisa
Benedict Dean, Dominic Peter, Spencer James & Theodore Michael

I think they all go well together. They all have an old fashioned air about them.

For Adelaide, I think Laidy is sweet. I would probably do Day (there was a fun character in one of my favorite authora books named Day, so I love it). There's also, Addie, Adeh (not sure how to spell it out, but like the first bit, a-deh), Adele, Laila, Laida, Lala (laylay)

For Evangeline, I like Lena. Evie would be my personal favorite. There's also Eve, Eva, Van (for the tomboy), Angie, Angel, Lele (leelee), Jean (all the sounds are there with g+line) -- My Amazon Author Page

I think both names go with Leopold, although I much prefer Adelaide to Evangeline myself.

Laidy for Adelaide is cute, but my favorite nickname for Adelaide is Della. For Evangeline, I like both Evie and Lena, as well as @dantea's suggestion of Jean. I also knew a girl with the name who went by Vangie, which is interesting - it sounds nicer than it looks on paper to me, though.

I adore both, but slightly prefer Adelaide for Leopold's sister. Adelaide Clover is beautiful and I like your idea of using Laidy as nn (I like it much better than Addy! Lol) Other than that: Adele, Della, Day (I second Dantea's suggestion on this one), Aida.

Evangeline: Eva, Evie, Angie (the obvious), Aline, Leane.
