    Refreshing the boys' list.

Not expecting yet, but the husband and I have been talking and trying to decide if we will TTC a fourth child, and I realized in the course of our recent conversation that my boys' list isn't all that long, and feels a little stale. We knew Asher's name before he was even conceived back in 2007, and with the next two being girls, we haven't seriously looked at boys' names in a while.

Here's the current "long" list (which is only about a third the length of the girls' long list):

    Arthur
    Asa
    Axel
    Duncan
    Elihu
    Elliott
    Henry
    Isaac
    Joss
    Jude
    Julius
    Keegan
    Luca
    Lucas
    Oliver
Owen (this was our "backup" for Asher)
    Renly (kind of a GP)
    Rory
    Stellan
    Sylvan
    Theodore

A lot of these have increased even further in popularity since '07, so I'd like some opinions and fresh ideas. All three kids' names are in my signature. One thing I think would be kinda cool to do is incorporate a "sh" sound and have an M-name for the middle, since our daughters both have "ette" sounds and S-names in the middle.

    Give me what you've got.

Asher, Arthur, Asa and Axel are all a bit too matchy, especially Asher and Arthur.

Elliott is a little too close to Jeanette with the double T ending.

    From your list I love...
    Asher, Bettina, Jeanette and Isaac
    Asher, Bettina, Jeanette and Stellan

    'Sh' / M suggestions...

    Sheldon Milo
    Shaun Maverick
    Hamish Michael

    Other names you might like...
    Beckett
    Callum
    Dexter
    Emmett
    Ethan
    Evan
    Felix
    Jasper
    Oscar
    Sawyer

I'm of Scandinavian descent and have a couple Axels back in my family tree, so for me it's a heritage name and not a trend name. Thanks for your comments.
